Just think you came home from your work after spending 8 to 9 hours with stress and now you are going to fall on bed to relaxed but when you enter in your room and thought about other works and again fall into stress with thinking of everything even you are at home. But do you know you can reduce stress by making changes in your home environment to get you more relaxed.
1. Reduce stress by nature .
Decorating plants at home can give you motivational thinking to your mind. By keeping some plants surrounding to you will reduce stress level and you can become more positive. Not only plants can reduce your stress but also it can give you more oxygen and fresh feeling and will help you to better breath. This is so amazing good mood technique.
2. Get rid of your messed up room.
If your home is already messed up it can give you bad mood and can feel you more anxious. Before you go to sleep, clean your home or your resting room for at least 30 minutes. Keep your all the things like papers, books, office stuff properly and also clean a dishes after having dinner. This will give you relaxation and most important thing this will kick your morning anxiety when you wake up.
3. Create a peace around you to reduce stress.
Clean your area where you don’t answer for your office work and just roam with your smartphone or reading books. You will feel more stressful if you didn’t clean this area because you don’t know where to sit where to stop because of messed up things. You used your room as an office like keeping office stuff on table on bed etc. which prevent you from relaxing.
4. Make your bed every day.
It seems so simple, but actually making your bed daily can boost your mood in good way. Your bedroom is where you leave all the stress. If you see your bed in a messed up things, you will not feel more relax. Also going to sleep on made bed always keep you on good relax mode to reduce stress.
5. Use colors which can calm you to reduce stress.
Try to paint your home with colorful shades which can calm your mind. Cooler colors like blue, green and gray can gently calm your thoughts and bring positiveness into you.
6. Avoid using excessive use of electronics.
Using your social media accounts may help you to keep in good mood but do you know doing this again and again will make you more depressed and anxious. Instead of using phone or watching television, give your mind by mediating, reading books or taking shower to reduce stress. Don’t keep your phone with you because you will be feel to check your mail or messages, which can make you feel stressful.
7. Take natural light as much possible.
While roaming in dark room can feel you depressed and it will impact your mood negatively. Open you room windows to allow natural light into your room. With this natural light, you can absorb vitamin D, which can make you feel good, happier. In the early morning open the all curtains as soon as you wake up. Good way to start your day.
